Scanning documents, images and photocopy via Windows – In all kind of office work or in schools, colleges, and universities submissions, scanning always in demand for completing a job which requires scanning of the paper documents to be converted into windows file. In windows, you can scan documents by using two ways and its a process of conversion which means saving a document by converting it into a file in Windows. The first way is scanning the document via using a dedicated scanner and second way is to scan with multi-function printers.

But before starting the scan, make sure you have connected your scanning device to your computer system. The scanner will be listed in the device section of the Devices and Printers Control Panel window. Make sure before you start installing it, the power is on and connected its USB cable is attached to the computer USB port. To check, you must click on Devices and Printers in Start Menu. A message will appear like “New Hardware Found” then a window will appear showing all the hardware connected with the system. You can manually click on Add device at the top bar of the window. Then you have to follow all the coming steps one by one to complete the installation process.
Now once the installation process finished you can start using your scanner with your computer successfully, you can begin scanning by the below-given steps.
- Open Start menu and go to all programs.
Now, click on “Windows Fax and Scan.” A window will open.
- In the Left bottom of the window, click Scan.
Now click on the New Scan. A new scan dialog box will open.
- Click on settings on the right.
Here you can adjust the color level and brightness to create a high quality of the scan.
- Click the “Preview” button
You can click on the button to check if the document looks desirable.
- Click “Scan”
If the document is according to your wish, then click Scan. It will scan the document and present it to you on display.
- Click “Save As” and give your document a location.
Now as the document is satisfying, you should save it in a desirable folder.
Scanner software is always inbuilt with your computer operating system, you don’t have to download it. It is very easy with the Windows to scan any document. All you have to do is, connect scanner with a computer and do start scanning its that much simple now. Now you will be able to do the scanning with your computer.
